Application for Grant Funding
21st Century Community Learning Centers Program

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program provides federal funding to establish or expand community learning centers. These centers provide students with opportunities for academic enrichment, youth development, and family support during non-school hours or during periods when school is not in session. The 21st Century Community Learning Centers provide a broad array of services, programs, and activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students. Examples of programs include homework help, STEM/STEAM enrichment, social and emotional learning, fitness, and partnerships with many entities that provide programming to both students and family members.

White County School System is currently completing application for 2019-20 funding for the 21st CCLC grant program serving BonDeCroft, FIndlay, and Woodland Park Elementary Schools and White County Middle School. The application deadline is March 29, 2019. Anyone who wishes to review the application or offer suggestions should contact Karen Benningfield at White County Board of Education office.
