White County Middle School Update 4/3/2020

I hope you and your family are well and are taking all precautions to remain healthy. I know these are difficult times and uncharted territory for all of us.  I wanted to let you know our school’s plan for the coming weeks.

We will continue to provide academic support for our students while schools are closed.  Beginning Monday, teachers will provide academic lessons for students in several ways. Teachers will provide online activities that can be found on the district website and on Google Classroom.  Packets will also be available for those without online access at school during the food pick up times on Monday and Thursday from 11:00-1:00.

We will continue to provide meals for students on Monday and Thursday from 11-1.  You will receive 3 Breakfasts and lunches on Monday and 2 Breakfasts and lunches on Thursday. This is available for all children 18 and under.

Teachers will be reaching out to you with information on how to contact them for help or support during their office hours via email, google meets, or phone.  All teachers will be providing office hours from 9:00-12:00 daily for any needs that you may have.

If you do not have online access and will not be able to pick up a packet at WCMS please contact us at school to let us know what school you will be picking up meals. If at all possible, please come to WCMS on Monday’s for materials.

We miss you! We look forward to returning to school when it is safe.  Until then, let’s embrace this new way of learning!

Thank you for your continued support of White County Middle School.  Stay healthy, keep learning and we will see you soon! We will be back in touch with you again next Friday evening.

Mrs. Griffith
